Milford-on-Sea arguably the only truly independent coastal village between Lymington and Christchurch. Several annual events are held on the village green, including a Christmas Carols evening, summer Carnival, Arts & Music Festival, May fair etc. with good selection of individual shops clustering around the green, plus pubs, tea rooms and restaurants. The beach and clifftops at Milford-on-Sea offer stunning panoramic views of Hurst Castle to the east, the Isle of Wight, the Needles and Christchurch Bay through to the Purbecks to the west.
